Delete your data — Spotlight Dreams

Short version: Spotlight Dreams has no accounts and no cloud saves, so almost everything is deleted by you, on your device, in under a minute. Turning off analytics and uninstalling the app removes your game data and stops all further collection. If you also want the anonymous analytics already collected to be erased, email us and we will delete it.

Delete your data yourself (fastest)

1. Turn off analytics. In the game, open Settings → Privacy & Data and choose Don't allow. Nothing further is collected from that moment on.

2. Delete your game save. In the game, open Settings → Delete Save (repeat for each save slot you used). This erases your character, career, money and all progress.

3. Uninstall the app. This removes any remaining game data from your device and permanently resets the random analytics identifier for your installation, so the anonymous data collected before cannot be connected to you or to any future install.

Ask us to delete the rest

The steps above stop collection and remove everything on your device, but anonymous analytics events collected before you turned analytics off still sit in Google Analytics until they expire. To have those erased sooner, email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request".

So we can find your data, open Settings → Privacy & Data in the game and tap Copy IDs, then paste that into the email. Those IDs identify your installation only — never you — and are the only way to locate anonymous data that isn't tied to a name or account. Please send the email before uninstalling if you can, since uninstalling resets the IDs. We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
